"We Give Respect, We Take Responsibility, We Show Pride"
Happy spring, all. I hope you are enjoying this outdoor time with your families! I want to take this opportunity to thank all who participated in helping Washington School have another successful school year. Thank you to teachers, support staff and parents. It is the Washington School community as a whole, that makes this school so special for our students. It is the total of all who love our children who help them to grow both socially and academically. Thank you!
Looking into next year, we are beginning to work on placing students in classes for next school year. I would like to share the sections and grade level assignments with you. Please note that these assignments are appropriate for our children as the numbers stand right now. Dr. Parker and I will continue to monitor the movement of our students and we may need to make changes to these classes should our population change. If we make a change, we will inform you. Here are the assignments as of today:
Grade 1 – Mr. DeRobertis, Mrs. Furda, Mrs. Kinney, Mrs. Klebaur
Grade 2 - Mrs. Abramov, Ms. Hammond, Miss Madden, Ms.Warmington
Grade 3 – Mr. Folk, Miss Lowe, Miss Raiteri
Grade 4 – Mrs. Martin, Mrs. O’Connor, new hire
Grade 5 – Mrs. Brennan, Mr. Garcia, Mrs. Pilipski
I will continue to work on specific class placements throughout the summer and you can expect your children’s class assignments to come via mail the week before school starts. Thank you for your input on placement and thank you for not requesting specific teacher assignments.Â
I hope you and your children enjoy all the excitement that comes with the end of the school year and our many special events!Â
